Day 14: 30-Day 60 Second Love Challenge (Purging)

Purging is great because it allows you to be more organized, know what you have, and feel a literal lift of weight from your shoulders.

One of my favorite activities is organizing. I love for everything to have its place and for me to know where that place is at all times. No stressing trying to find things in a rush for me.

Part of organizing includes purging – releasing things you no longer need. I purge my material possessions regularly… sometimes several times a year.

If I don’t need it or have no used it for a while, it needs a new home that will value it more than I obviously do.

I just spent two days going through my scarves. I have a lot of scarves. I love color and I am matchy-matchy – my scarves must match what I am wearing.

I always buy scarves when I travel and other places… looking for new styles, fabrics, and colors. As a result, I sometimes end up with scarves that are not a good fabric or color match for me.

I spent the last two days going over my scarves and purged about 75 pieces. They are going to betters homes.

But not to worry, I still have plenty.

Purging is great because it allows you to be more organized, know what you have, and feel a literal lift of weight from your shoulders.

I encourage you to think about what you are holding on to and allowing to clutter your life… then experience the purge effect.

These videos are all about bringing awareness to the #LoveGlassesRevolution founded by my close friends Tara Ijai & the CHOICE we all have in every moment to see the world around us through the lens of love, empowerment & joy.

Should this 30-day challenge speak to you & you’d like to join the party:
1. Make the decision
2. Choose something that speaks to you that is reflective of love (it can be a video, quotes, art, random acts of kindness, reading a page of your favorite book, etc.)
3. Share it! We could all use more of that! The gift is in both the sharing and receiving.

There is no limit to what we can accomplish together if we share a small part of ourselves with each other. That is love. That is being alive.
